The Manse
The Manse is in Broughton, North Yorkshire. It's set back in its own bit of garden, facing out towards fields. The place was done up completely a few years back, so everything inside is new and works properly.
It sleeps eight. Four bedrooms, and each one has its own bathroom. That makes mornings easier. The stairs are normal, not a cottage spiral.
The kitchen is well-equipped. There's a separate living room with a TV and a small study if someone needs a quiet corner. The orangery is a nice spot, it looks out over the walled garden.
You're right on the edge of the Broughton Sanctuary estate. It's a big rewilding project. You get access included, so you can walk straight out from the garden into the woods or along the river. It's very quiet.
The local pub is about a ten-minute walk through the estate grounds. It serves food. For shops, you'd drive to Skipton, which is about four miles away.
You're well placed for the Dales. Grassington is about twenty minutes by car. Kettlewell is a bit further on. Good walking and cycling from the door, or you can drive to find different trails.
For facilities, it's all there. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, parking for a couple of cars on the drive. One well-behaved dog is welcome. Bedding and towels are included.
