Yellison is a farmhouse on the Broughton Hall Estate, just outside Skipton. You get a good view back towards the town and the moors. It's down a single track lane, so it's quiet.
There's space for eight people. Four bedrooms, each one with its own bathroom. One is on the ground floor, which helps if stairs are a problem. The stairs are typical old farmhouse stairs, though, so you need to be a bit careful.
It's got what you'd expect: a washing machine, dishwasher, wood burner. Parking right there. You can bring one dog. The garden is enclosed, but it's not massive.
The estate grounds are part of the deal. You can just go for a walk straight from the door. If you're interested, there's a Land Rover experience centre right next to the house where you can book a drive.
There's a pub about a mile away, but you're really here for the space and the views. Skipton is three miles for shops and restaurants.
The area's good for walking and cycling. You can be in the Yorkshire Dales National Park quickly. For things to do, the Yorkshire Dales National Park site is useful. Also, National Trust Yorkshire has information on nearby places like Bolton Abbey.
