Yellison
Yellison is a detached farmhouse on the Broughton Hall Estate near Skipton. It's down a single-track road. The views from the front are really good, over the estate and out towards the Dales.
It sleeps eight people in four bedrooms. They all have their own bathrooms, which is handy. One of the bedrooms is on the ground floor. The stairs are fine, no major issues there.
It's a 4 Star place, so it's well-equipped and comfortable. There's a wood burner, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and an enclosed garden. You can bring one dog. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right there.
The house is part of the estate, so you've got about 3000 acres to wander around. You can walk down past Broughton Hall itself. There's a Land Rover Experience place next door if that's your sort of thing.
The nearest pub is about a mile away. Skipton is three miles. It's a proper market town with shops, restaurants, and a castle. From there you're right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales.
If you're planning trips out, these sites are useful: Yorkshire Dales National Park, English Heritage, and National Trust Yorkshire. Within half an hour you can get to places like Malham Cove, Bolton Abbey, or the town of Harrogate.
