Stirton Burrow is a barn conversion in the hamlet of Stirton. It's about a mile and a quarter outside Skipton. Detached, but right next to our house. You won't see us unless you need something.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom with a shower. The rating is 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well looked after. It's got a woodburning stove. There's a hot tub in the private garden.
You can walk straight out onto the footpaths. Sharphaw hill is a good walk from the door. Or you can walk into Skipton in about half an hour. It's a proper market town with a castle, shops, and pubs. The canal runs through it.
You're well placed for driving. Harrogate is about half an hour away. The Yorkshire Dales National Park starts on your doorstep. The southern Lakes are just over an hour's drive. York is about an hour too.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, WiFi, TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can take one well-behaved dog.
