Kilnsey Cottage is in Winterburn, in North Yorkshire. It’s on a quiet lane surrounded by fields. That means you get the views and the quiet. It can feel quite remote, but Skipton isn’t far.
The cottage itself sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating which basically means it's clean, modern, and everything works. It’s all open plan downstairs so you’re all in one space.
There’s a good sized garden that’s just yours, with a table and chairs. And yes, there’s a wood-fired hot tub out there. You have to light it and wait for it to heat up, but it’s there if you want it.
Facilities wise, it’s got what you’d expect: WiFi, a smart TV, a washing machine, parking right outside. Bedding and towels come with it.
You’re in walking country here. The Yorkshire Dales National Park starts on your doorstep. Malham Cove and the limestone pavement are about a 15 minute drive. Skipton, the market town, is about 20 minutes away if you need shops or a supermarket.
If you want to go further, the edge of the Forest of Bowland is within half an hour, and you can get to the Lake District in about an hour.
No pets allowed, I'm afraid.
