Cove View Cottage
Cove View Cottage is in Malham. It’s a Grade II listed, semi-detached stone cottage. It sleeps two. One bedroom, and a bathroom that’s ensuite to it.
The rating is 3 Star. It’s clean, comfortable and straightforward. It’s not a hotel.
From the back, you look out at Malham Cove. That’s the view. It’s fields and that big limestone cliff. The garden is a patio area with a table and chairs.
Inside, it's open plan downstairs. There are beams and a woodburner. The stairs are steep, because it’s old. The bedroom is upstairs.
You’re in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. You can walk out the door and onto the Pennine Way. Malham Cove is a ten minute walk. Gordale Scar is about twenty minutes.
In the village there’s a stream, two pubs and a couple of teashops. The National Park Centre is here too. The nearest shop for groceries is in Airton, about two and a half miles away.
Skipton is the nearest proper town, about a twenty minute drive. You can get all your shopping there.
The facilities are what you’d expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. There’s parking right outside. We’ve put in an electric vehicle charger. You can bring one dog.
