The Mill Lodge
The Mill Lodge is in Bell Busk, right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It's a detached house. It sleeps ten, with five bedrooms and four bathrooms. It's a 5 Star property, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable.
The house overlooks the River Aire. You can walk straight out from the garden into the Dales. Malham Cove, Gordale Scar, and Janet’s Foss are all nearby. It's good walking country.
Skipton is the nearest proper town, about ten minutes by car. It's got a castle, a market, and the usual shops and pubs. The Yorkshire Dales National Park Authority site has good walking information.
There's a pub about a mile and a half away. The nearest shop is in Gargrave, three miles.
Inside, it's open plan with a wood burning stove. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking on site. No pets.
If you want to go further, you can drive to the Lake District or into York. Both are about an hour and a half away. Leeds is also accessible by train from Skipton.
