Eden House

Eden House is in Broughton, North Yorkshire. You drive through the Broughton Hall estate on a single track road to get to it.

It's a detached house that sleeps eleven people. There are six bedrooms and three bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. The house is all on one level from the ground floor, which is useful.

There's a big living room with high ceilings so everyone can be in one space. The kitchen has a lot of light from a big window and French doors. It's got a central island. The dining room is more traditionally furnished than the rest of the house.

A couple of the bedrooms and a bathroom are on the ground floor. There's also a quiet reading area at the bottom of the stairs. One staircase leads up to just two more bedrooms and a bathroom, which gives a bit of privacy if some people want to turn in early.

Outside, there's a wood-fired hot tub in the garden. The lawn is large and flat. There's a two-storey garage with a bar and a children's room inside.

The house is on the Broughton Hall Estate, so you can walk through the grounds. There's a local pub about 500 yards away, through the estate.

Skipton is about three and a half miles away. It's a market town with a high street, shops, and cafes. You can walk along the canal or visit Skipton Castle.

Malham Cove is within a ten mile drive. It's a big limestone formation. You can walk up to the top. Gordale Scar is nearby for easier walks.

The Yorkshire Dales villages of Grassington and Kettlewell are about twelve and seventeen miles away respectively. There are a lot of walking and cycling routes all around this area.

In terms of facilities, there's a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, a washing machine, and on site parking. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot, highchair, and stairgate available. The property is wheelchair accessible at the entrance and has ground floor facilities, including a wet room. Two pets are welcome.

For planning your visit, the Yorkshire Dales National Park website has good information.
