6 Craven Terrace is in Skipton, just off the high street. It's a one bedroom cottage, good for two people. It's quiet because it's tucked away down a lane, but you're only a minute's walk from everything.
The cottage has a 3 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean, not a show home. There's a wood burning stove which makes it really cosy. The bathroom has a shower, not a bath.
You can walk everywhere. The Castle is about five minutes away. The market is on four days a week up the high street. The Leeds and Liverpool Canal is at the bottom of the lane, so you can go for a walk along the towpath straight from the door.
Skipton is called the Gateway to the Dales for a reason. You're right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. You can drive into the proper countryside in about ten minutes. Embsay Steam Railway is just outside town. Settle is about a twenty minute drive, it's a nice market town.
There's a local shop 100 yards away and a couple of pubs within 200 yards. Parking is on site, which is useful in the middle of town.
We allow one well-behaved dog. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included, and there's WiFi and a TV.
