Sulphur Wells is in Broughton, just outside Skipton. It's a stone cottage, so the walls are thick and the rooms feel solid. You get two bathrooms, which is handy.
It's got a 4 Star rating. That means it's well looked after, with good beds and a proper kitchen. The living room has a wood burner effect stove, it's electric but gives a good glow. There's a separate little room off it with a table for games or reading. It's a quiet spot.
The main thing is the view out the back. The garden looks straight over fields. You're right on the edge of the Broughton Hall estate, so you can walk from the door through those grounds. It's about 3000 acres. You'll see the hall itself, and there's a river with bridges.
Being on the A59 means it's easy to get to Skipton, about three miles. That's where the supermarkets, shops, and the train station are. There's a pub that does food half a mile away, walking distance if you don't mind the main road.
If you're here for walking, you're in a good spot. Grassington and Bolton Abbey are a short drive. The Yorkshire Dales are right there. For a more organised walk, the Yorkshire Dales National Park site has routes.
Facilities: it's got the normal stuff. Washing machine, WiFi, TV. Parking for two cars. The garden is enclosed. You can bring up to two dogs. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. All bedding and towels are included.
