Kestrel View
Kestrel View is an apartment on the first floor, above the Skipton Golf Club house. It sleeps six, has three bedrooms and two bathrooms. That's handy.
The main thing is the view. You look right out over the golf course towards the Dales. It's a good view. The place has been redone recently, so it's clean and straightforward. The living area is open plan with a sofa and an electric stove that looks like a wood burner. It's warm.
You're right on the golf course. The club bar and restaurant are downstairs. You can get a table and they do food most days, but you should check times when you book. Guests get a discount. If you want to play, it's a long, tough course. You need to book a tee time.
Skipton town is about a mile away. You can walk it through the woods. It's a proper market town with a castle, shops, and pubs. The castle is worth a visit. Skipton Castle has the details.
You're basically on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Good for walking or cycling straight from the door. For planning, the Yorkshire Dales National Park site is useful.
What's here: there's a dishwasher, WiFi, parking on site, and bedding is included. There's a patio area. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. No pets, sorry. They've got a highchair and a stairgate if you need them.
