Mallard's Nest is on Canal Street in Skipton. It's an end-terrace cottage. You look out onto the canal from the front.
It sleeps three people. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. That means it's clean and functional. The ceilings are low in places because of the beams, so you might need to mind your head.
The living space is all open plan downstairs. There's a kitchen area, a table, and seating. Upstairs, the two bedrooms are at the back. They're quiet, and you get a view over the garden and the fields behind.
You can walk straight out onto the canal path. It's about a five minute walk along there into the town centre. There are plenty of shops and pubs. The castle is right there by the path.
For a day out, the Embsay Steam Railway is very close. It goes to Bolton Abbey. The Yorkshire Dales start just outside town. You can be in Grassington in about fifteen minutes by car.
The facilities are what you'd expect. There's a washing machine, WiFi, and parking for one car on the street outside. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
