Lindale Cottage is in Skipton, on a quiet street about five minutes' walk from the high street. It's just for two people, one bedroom, one bathroom. Sleeps two.
It was refurbished in 2021 so everything is clean and modern. The layout is a bit different. The living room, kitchen, and dining area are all open plan upstairs. It's light up there. There's a wood burner for cooler nights. The doors open onto a private roof terrace with a table and chairs.
Downstairs is the bedroom with a king size bed. There's a freestanding bath in the bedroom, which is unusual. The en-suite is a wet room with a shower. It's all on one level from the front door to the bedroom, so it's accessible if you have mobility issues, though the wet room is the only bathroom.
You're right in the town. Skipton has the castle, the canal, and a market. Plenty of pubs and places to eat. It's a good base.
The Yorkshire Dales start a couple of miles out. You can drive to Malham Cove or Grassington in about 15 minutes. There's secure bike storage in the garage if you cycle. The Yorkshire Dales National Park site is good for planning walks.
Facilities: Wi-Fi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine, bedding and towels are included. There's no garden, just the roof terrace. It's a 4 Star place, so it's well equipped. No pets.
