Russell Retreat is a one-bedroom flat, first floor. It's right in the centre of Skipton, above the shops. You'll hear the market on a Thursday. It's a proper market town.
It sleeps two. There's a double bedroom, one bathroom with a shower cubicle. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. The stairs up to the flat are a standard flight, they're fine.
The main space is open plan. Kitchen at one end, sitting area at the other. There's a small breakfast bar. It's got everything you need: dishwasher, WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
You're in the middle of everything. The castle is a five-minute walk. The canal is at the bottom of the high street. You can walk along there, or book a trip on a day boat from there if you fancy it.
For getting further out, you're right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. Grassington is about a fifteen-minute drive. Ilkley and Harrogate are within half an hour. The southern Lakes, like Kendal, are about forty minutes if the traffic's alright.
