Autumn Rose Cottage

Autumn Rose Cottage is in Skipton. It's about a ten minute walk into the town centre from here. You get a good view of the castle from one of the front windows.

It sleeps four people in two bedrooms. Both have king size beds. There's one bathroom with a walk-in shower. It was all done up in 2022 so it's fresh. It's got a 4 Star rating.

The stairs are a bit steep. You come straight into them from the front door. Something to note.

There's a wood burner in the living room. We leave a bit of wood to get you started. The kitchen has a dishwasher. You've got your own enclosed patio garden out the back. Parking is on site, right outside.

We take up to two dogs. There's a warm water tap outside for washing muddy paws. We leave some dog towels, bowls, and blankets. It's not a huge garden, but it's secure for them.

Skipton is a good base. The castle is worth a visit. The market is on four days a week. You can walk straight from the cottage into the countryside. The Leeds-Liverpool Canal runs through town.

If you want to drive out, the Yorkshire Dales are right there. Malham Cove and Bolton Abbey are about a twenty minute drive. The Yorkshire Dales National Park site has good walking routes. For a bigger day out, Harrogate is about half an hour away.

Bedding and towels are included. We leave a basic welcome pack with some tea, milk, and biscuits.
