Autumn Rose Cottage

Autumn Rose Cottage is in Skipton, on the edge of town. It's a terrace cottage, but it's got its own little walled garden at the back. You can sit out there.

It sleeps four, in two double bedrooms. Both have king size beds. There's one bathroom with a decent walk-in shower. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable. Everything was redone in 2022.

The living room has a wood burner. There's a proper kitchen with a table and chairs, and a dishwasher. Everything is on one level, which is handy.

We allow up to two dogs. There are a couple of blankets, bowls, and leads here if you need them. There's also an outdoor tap with warm water, which people find useful for washing muddy dogs.

Skipton itself is a five minute walk. You've got the castle, the canal, and the market. The Yorkshire Dales National Park starts right on your doorstep. Good walking from the door.

Within about half an hour, you can drive to Malham Cove and Gordale Scar, which are spectacular. Bolton Abbey is about twenty minutes away. For a day out, the National Trust has quite a few houses and gardens in the area, like Brimham Rocks.

For facilities: there's parking for one car on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi and a TV. We leave some basics for you when you arrive, like toiletries and a welcome pack.
