Prospect Cottage is on a cobbled lane off the high street in Skipton. It looks out over the town and the fields beyond.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. Clean and comfortable, with a decent amount of space.
The living room has two sofas and a wood burner effect electric fire.
The stairs are cottage stairs, so they're a bit steep and narrow. The bathroom is upstairs, it's a good size with a shower cubicle. There's a main double bedroom at the front with the view, and a slightly smaller double at the back.
Out the back there's a private, enclosed courtyard. A spot to sit out if the weather's good.
You're right in the middle of things. Shops, cafes, pubs, and Skipton market are all a minute's walk away. Skipton Castle is just up the road. For longer walks, you can be on the canal towpath or heading into the Dales from the town centre.
Within about half an hour you can drive to Ilkley and its moor, or into the Yorkshire Dales proper, like at Bolton Abbey. Haworth is about 40 minutes.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and bike storage. Bedding and towels are included. It's dog friendly for up to two pets. There's on-street parking, you'll need a permit which we provide.
