Prospect Cottage is on a cobbled lane just off the high street in Skipton. It looks out over the town centre, so you get the view of the castle and the hills beyond. It's handy for everything.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and well looked after.
The stairs are steep. They're also a bit narrow going into the bedrooms, so just mind your head. There's storage for boots and coats on the landing.
Out the back there's a small, private courtyard. It's enclosed. You can sit out there with a coffee.
Inside, there's a living room with a TV and an electric stove that looks like a wood burner. The kitchen has a dishwasher and washing machine. Bedding and towels are included.
You're right in the town. The market, shops, pubs, and cafes are all a minute's walk. The castle is very close. There's a swimming pool and a golf course nearby too.
For walks, you can start right from the door into the woods and fields. The Yorkshire Dales National Park begins just outside town. Malham Cove and Gordale Scar are about a twenty-minute drive. National Trust Yorkshire has details for places like Brimham Rocks, which is about half an hour away.
No pets, sorry. There's space to store bicycles.
