Blue Buttons is on the edge of Skipton, on a private lane with three other cottages. It's detached, so you have your own walls. The garden is yours too.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's been done up to a high spec. An interior architect designed it, so everything fits and works together. There's a welcome pack with local bits and a bottle of wine when you arrive. Robes and toiletries are provided.
The bathroom has a walk-in shower and a double jacuzzi bath. It's a proper hot tub sort of bath, but inside.
You can walk into Skipton through the park. Takes about ten minutes. There's an indoor swimming pool on that route. The town centre has the castle, the market, and shops. There's a shop and a pub about half a mile away.
You're right by the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Places like Grassington, where they film All Creatures, and Malham Cove are a short drive. Kettlewell is up that way too. The Forest of Bowland is also close, that's an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
You can get a train from Skipton to Leeds if you want a city day. York and Harrogate are about an hour's drive.
Facilities-wise: it has a woodburning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, TV, WiFi, and parking. All bedding and towels are included. No pets, sorry.
