Salt Pot Cottage
Salt Pot Cottage is in Glusburn, near Cross Hills. It's a barn conversion. You get the whole place. The view is nice, all fields and hills.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one main bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The living area is open plan. There’s a kitchen at one end, a dining table, then sofas and a TV. Up a few steps from there is a small snug area. It’s useful if kids want their own space.
The main patio is at the front. You get the evening sun and a good view. There’s parking for your car and space for bikes.
The village pub is about a mile away. They do food. Skipton is four miles. It’s a proper market town with a castle, shops, and the canal. You can get a boat trip from there. Yorkshire Dales National Park is right on the doorstep for walking. Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is close too.
Haworth is about twenty minutes by car, if you're interested in the Brontës or the steam railway. Bolton Abbey isn't far either, maybe fifteen minutes. It’s good for a walk by the river.
For facilities, it's got the things you'd expect: dishwasher, WiFi, TV, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one well-behaved dog. There’s a cot and a highchair if you need them.
