Salt Pot Cottage is an old stone barn we converted. It's on the edge of Glusburn, near Cross Hills. It's a good spot if you want to get into the Yorkshire Dales.
You can sleep four here. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. It's all on one level, which some people find easier. The main room is open plan with the kitchen, a dining table, and sofas at the other end. There's a little snug area off that, which kids tend to claim. The WiFi is decent.
Outside, there's a patio with a table. The view from there is the best bit, really. You look out over the fields. There's off-road parking and a place to store bikes.
The village pub is about a fifteen-minute walk. They do good food. Skipton is a ten-minute drive. That's your proper market town with shops, cafes, and the castle. You can get a boat trip on the canal there.
You're right by the Yorkshire Dales National Park. There are walks straight from the door. Haworth, with the Brontë Parsonage and the steam railway, is about twenty minutes away. Bolton Abbey is maybe fifteen minutes by car. It's good for a walk by the river.
You can bring one dog. We provide bedding and towels. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine.
