Hazelgrove Lodge Barn
Hazelgrove Lodge Barn is near a place called Monkroyd. It's just inside Lancashire, right on the border with Yorkshire. It's up a farm track, so you're out in the middle of fields and moors. The views are really something, especially from the front.
It sleeps ten, with five bedrooms and four bathrooms. The rating is 5 Star, which means it's well equipped and finished to a high standard. There's a bedroom and a wet room on the lower ground floor, and that bit has its own entrance. It might suit someone who wants a bit more space or easier access.
The main living area is all open-plan. There's an inside balcony you can sit on. The master bedroom has its own balcony too, and a dressing room.
We accept one dog. There's an outdoor shower for washing muddy paws.
You're on the Pennine Bridleway, so you can walk straight from the door. Wycoller and Bronte Country is about six miles away. Yorkshire Dales National Park is easily reached, with Skipton an eight mile drive. The Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty is under forty minutes. Pendle Hill is nearby if you're interested in the history or just want the view from the top.
There's a 9-hole golf course about seven minutes away by car.
Facilities include all the basics: washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, log burner. Bedding and towels are included. There's plenty of parking. The garden is enclosed.
