Chapel Flat
Chapel Flat is part of Broughton Hall. It's in a private wing of the main house, on the first floor. You get your own front door.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, all with their own bathroom and a four-poster bed. Two of the bathrooms have a freestanding bath.
The stairs up to the flat are the original stone staircase. They're grand, but they are stairs.
The living room is big, with high ceilings and a working fireplace. The views over the estate are good. The kitchen is new and has what you need. It's not a huge kitchen, but it's well equipped.
You're right on the Broughton Sanctuary estate. You can walk straight out onto it. It's 3000 acres of woods and moorland. There are walks and cycle trails from the door.
The local pub is about a ten minute walk through the grounds. It serves food.
For a day out, Grassington is about 20 minutes drive. Kettlewell is a bit further on. The Yorkshire Dales National Park website has details on walking routes. National Trust Yorkshire properties like Fountains Abbey are within an hour.
The flat has a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well finished. There's parking on site. WiFi, towels, all that's included. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
