River View Cottage
River View Cottage is in Gargrave, on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. It's an end terrace, right on the banks of the River Aire. The view from the front room is straight out over the water and the fields.
It's just for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means everything is in good order and we've tried to make it comfortable. It's a small cottage, so the layout is quite compact.
There's a local shop and a pub about five minutes walk away. The Golden Fleece does food. Skipton is a ten minute drive. That's a proper market town with a castle, shops, and plenty of places to eat. The Yorkshire Dales National Park information centre is there too.
You can walk from the door along the river or up into the Dales. The National Trust has a few places nearby, like Brimham Rocks, which is about half an hour's drive.
Facilities: It has a woodburning stove, dishwasher, washing machine, and Wi-Fi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking for one car on the street outside. No pets.
