This is River View Cottage in Gargrave. It's an end-of-terrace place right on the River Aire. You get a good look at the water and the fields from the front.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-finished and everything works as it should. It's comfortable.
There’s a shop and a pub about five minutes' walk away. The pub serves food. Gargrave itself is a nice village, good for a stroll.
Skipton is a ten minute drive. It's a proper market town. They've got a castle, Skipton Castle, and a wide high street with shops and cafes. There's a leisure centre there if you need one.
For walking, you're right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. You can step out the door and be on a footpath. The Yorkshire Dales National Park website has good maps. Malham Cove and Gordale Scar are about a twenty minute drive. They're impressive.
Harrogate is about forty minutes away if you want a day out shopping. The National Trust has a few properties nearby, like Brimham Rocks.
In terms of what's here: there's a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, a washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. The electricity is all in the price. No pets, I'm afraid.
