Hetton Cottage
Hetton Cottage is on a small farm lane outside Winterburn. It's one of a few cottages here. You've got your own garden bit with a table and chairs.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two singles. There's one bathroom with a bath and shower. It has a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
Inside is all open plan. Kitchen along one wall, dining table in the middle, then a sofa and TV at the other end. It's practical. There's underfloor heating which is good when it's cold. The stairs are a bit steep, but they're fine if you take your time.
Outside, there's a wood-fired hot tub. You need to light it yourself. It takes a few hours to get hot, but it's nice once it's going.
There's parking right outside the cottage. The garden's enclosed. We provide all the bedding and towels. There's WiFi and a washing machine.
Winterburn itself is tiny. It's quiet. You're here for the countryside. For pubs and shops, you'll need to drive. Skipton is about a twenty minute drive. It's a proper market town with a castle, shops, and a canal.
The Yorkshire Dales are right there. Good walking straight from the door. Malham Cove and Gordale Scar are about a fifteen minute drive. Worth seeing. The Forest of Bowland is about half an hour away, and the southern Lakes are just over an hour if you fancied it.
