The Ginnel Mews

The Ginnel Mews is in Skipton, right near the town centre. It’s a end-of-terrace cottage, part of a small row. You can park right outside.

It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It’s a 4 Star, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped. The stairs are a typical cottage size, so they’re not massive. One of the double bedrooms downstairs can be set up as twins if you ask beforehand.

You walk in on the ground floor to the bedrooms and the bathroom, which has a shower over the bath. Upstairs is the living room and kitchen, all in one open space. The kitchen's fine for cooking if you don't want to eat out. There's a single bedroom up there too.

Out the front there's a little porch with a chair. Out the back is a small patio. It gets the sun in the evening.

You’re a few minutes’ walk from everything in Skipton. The high street, the castle, the market on the cobbles. The canal is there too for a walk or you can hire a boat. The town has all the shops you’ll need.

For days out, you’re right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. You can be up on the moors in no time. Bolton Castle in Wensleydale is about half an hour by car. The southern part of the Lake District is also within a 30 minute drive if you fancy a change.

Facilities: there’s a dishwasher and washing machine, bedding and towels are included, and we can put a cot in if needed. One well-behaved dog is allowed. It's available over Christmas, we put a tree up.
