Lodge Farm Cottage Oakworth

Lodge Farm Cottage is in Oakworth, near Haworth. It's attached to our farmhouse, but it's separate. You get the whole cottage and the garden to yourselves.

It sleeps three. Two bedrooms, one is a double, the other a single. One bathroom with a bath. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. The stairs are normal. The access is through our farmyard, but that's just how you get to the front door. It's fine.

The main thing is the view out the back. The big window in the lounge looks straight over fields. There are Shire horses in them sometimes. It's quiet.

Inside, there's a wood burning stove, a decent sofa, and a smart TV. The kitchen has an induction hob, fridge, microwave, and a dishwasher. There's a utility room with a washing machine and space for coats.

Outside, there's a small enclosed patio at the front with a table and chairs. You get an allocated parking space.

Oakworth itself has a couple of pubs that do food, and you're right on the edge of Haworth. That's where the Brontë Parsonage is and all the cobbled streets and shops. It's about a five minute drive, or you can walk.

From here, you can get to Skipton, Bolton Abbey, or the Yorkshire Dales quite easily. It's a good base if you want to walk. The area has tons of footpaths.

Facilities are all listed. Bedding and towels are included. We accept one well-behaved dog.
