Mia Cottage is up at Scar Top, above Stanbury. The views from here are really panoramic, it's all fields and moors. You're on the grounds of the main house but you have your own space. It's mid-terraced with two other cottages.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The living area has a big floor-to-ceiling window so you get the views from inside too. There's underfloor heating on the ground floor, which is good when it's cold. The private hot tub is out the front.
You get here via a farm track. It's fine for normal cars, just take it steady. There's parking right there.
For walks, you can start from the door. Top Withens and the Bronte Waterfalls are directly accessible. The Pennine Way footpath runs right next to the farm. The village of Stanbury is a short walk down the hill and has a couple of pubs that do food. Haworth, which is the main Bronte village, is about five minutes away by car.
Further out, Hebden Bridge is about 20 minutes' drive. It's got a lot of independent shops. Skipton is about half an hour and is a proper market town, and it's the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales. If you're a National Trust member, Hardcastle Crags is a good wooded valley walk, and East Riddlesden Hall is interesting. Both are around 30 minutes away.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included, and we provide dressing gowns for the hot tub. A cot and highchair are available if you need them. One well-behaved dog is welcome. There's bicycle storage. The garden/patio area is yours to use.
