Mia Cottage is on Scar Top, near Stanbury. It's a mid-terrace cottage, one of a row of three. We're up a farm track, so it feels nicely separate. You're next to our house, but you have your own space.
It sleeps three. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable. The floor to ceiling window in the living room is the main thing. The view is just fields and sky, all the way out. Underfloor heating on the ground floor keeps it cosy.
There's a hot tub out the front. Towels and dressing gowns are provided for it. The stairs are a bit steep, as you'd expect.
You can walk straight onto the moors from the door. Top Withens and the Bronte Waterfalls are up there. The Pennine Way path runs right past the farm. The village of Stanbury is a short walk down the hill, with a couple of pubs. Haworth is five minutes by car.
Hebden Bridge is about twenty minutes' drive. It's good for cafes and independent shops. Skipton is about half an hour away, which is a proper market town and the start of the Dales. For National Trust places, Hardcastle Crags or East Riddlesden Hall are both roughly thirty minutes.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair. You can park on site. One well-behaved dog is welcome.
