Strawberry Cottage

Strawberry Cottage is in Haworth. It's near the top of the main street, so you get a good view over the roofs and out to the moors. The garden is enclosed, which is handy.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom downstairs. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. The stairs are a typical cottage staircase, so mind your head.

You come in through the back door into the kitchen. It's got what you need. The living room is a good size, with a gas fire that looks like a wood burner. The back garden is a quiet spot to sit, and there's lockable storage for bikes.

Haworth itself is steep, as you'd expect. The Brontë Parsonage is a five-minute walk down the hill. The moors start right at the top of the street. You can walk for miles up there. For cyclists, the hills are serious but the routes are good if you're fit.

There's a shop a few minutes down the hill. A couple of pubs and places to eat are about a ten-minute walk. For a bigger town, Skipton is about a twenty-minute drive. They've got the castle and a market.

Within half an hour you can get to Saltaire, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site, or the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway. If you want to go further, the Yorkshire Dales are about forty minutes north.

What's here: Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, parking for one car on the drive. Bedding and towels are included. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
