Fernhill Cottage is in Oxenhope, up near Haworth. It's a detached bungalow in our garden, so it's all on one level. We finished doing it up a few years ago.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which really just means it's been done to a good standard and everything works. It's modern inside.
The living area is open plan. There's a very large TV on the wall. Outside is a private patio that gets the sun late.
It's about a ten minute walk to the village. There's a shop and a couple of pubs that do food. The Keighley and Worth Valley Railway station is half a mile away. You can get the steam train direct to Haworth, which is two miles down the road. That's where the Brontë Parsonage is, and the main street is all cobbles and old shops.
The walking from here is good. You can walk up to Top Withens on the moors, which is the old farmhouse they say inspired Wuthering Heights. It's bleak up there, in a good way. Hebden Bridge is about 15 minutes by car. Skipton is half an hour.
What's here: parking right outside, a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can put a cot or highchair in if you need one. No pets, I'm afraid.
