The Club House is in Old Town, which is up the hill from Hebden Bridge. It's a stone terraced cottage, one of the old weaver's ones. You look out over fields from the back.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and has everything you need. The stairs inside are the original ones. They're steep and a bit narrow, so just mind your head.
There's a wood burner in the main room for cooler nights. The kitchen's open plan and has a dishwasher and washing machine. You get bedding and towels. There's parking for one car right outside.
Old Town has a shop and cafe about five minutes walk away. For a pub or restaurant, you're better off heading down into Hebden Bridge itself, which is about a fifteen minute walk down the hill. It's a bit of a climb back up.
Hebden Bridge has all the independent shops and cafes. Good walking starts right from the door. Hardcastle Crags is National Trust and very close. The Pennine Way runs through here too.
You can get the train from Hebden Bridge into Manchester or Leeds. Haworth, for the Brontë parsonage, is about twenty minutes by car. Both the Yorkshire Dales and the Peak District are within an hour's drive for a longer day out.
One well-behaved dog is welcome. The garden is a small patio area at the back.
