Club House

This is Club House. It's a stone cottage in Old Town, which is up the hill from Hebden Bridge. You can walk down into town, it takes about 15 minutes. The views from up here are good, over the fields.

It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's well kept and comfortable. It's a weaver's cottage, so the rooms aren't huge but they've got character. There are stone walls and the original windows. The stairs are quite steep, which is normal for these old places.

It's got a wood burning stove for cold nights. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. We allow one dog.

In Hebden Bridge there are lots of independent shops, cafes and pubs. It's a good place for a wander. The local pub in Old Town is about half a mile away, and there's a small community shop and cafe even closer.

For walking, you're right on the edge of some great countryside. The Pennine Way is nearby. Hardcastle Crags is National Trust and about ten minutes in the car. It's a good valley for a walk.

You can get the train from Hebden Bridge into Manchester or Leeds quite easily. Haworth, where the Brontë Parsonage is, is about 20 minutes by car. You can be in the Yorkshire Dales or the Peak District in under an hour if you want a day out.
