Sands Farm Cottage is in Luddenden Foot, up on the side of the Calder Valley. It's semi-detached, next to our house. The main thing you get here is the view. It's all fields and hills out the back.
It's a two bedroom place, sleeps four. Both bedrooms have their own bathroom, which is handy. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's very well finished. There's underfloor heating and a wood burner for cooler nights. We've also got solar panels and a small wind turbine.
The garden is a good size, with a patio and a BBQ. You can sit out there and just look at the view. There's parking right next to the cottage.
You can walk straight out from the door onto the hills. The Hardcastle Crags are nearby if you fancy a proper woodland walk. The Pennine Way and Calderdale Way are both close. Hebden Bridge is about a ten minute drive. It's got a good range of shops and places to eat. Sowerby Bridge and Mytholmroyd are even closer, just a few minutes.
The trains from those stations go direct to Leeds or Manchester if you don't want to drive. Haworth, for the Bronte stuff, is about half an hour away by car. The Peak District is maybe 40 minutes if you fancy a day trip.
Inside, it's got what you'd need. Washing machine, dishwasher, good WiFi, TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. You can bring up to two dogs.
