Seamstress Cottage is in Ripponden. It's a stone mid-terrace cottage, about a five-minute walk from the village centre. It was renovated in 2021 so everything's fresh and works properly.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One is on the second floor with beams and a roll-top bath. The stairs to that floor are quite steep.
The main living space is open plan with a wood-burning stove. There's a small balcony off it with good views over the valley. You can see a long way.
Ripponden has a couple of shops, a few pubs that do food, and a nice bakery. For a bigger town, Hebden Bridge is about a 15-minute drive. It's got a lot of independent shops and cafes.
The location is good for walking. You're roughly between the Yorkshire Dales and the Peak District. The Pennine Way runs over Blackstone Edge behind the village. Halifax is about 20 minutes away if you want to visit The Piece Hall or Shibden Hall.
In terms of what's here, it's got everything on the list: WiFi, a washing machine, dishwasher, bedding and towels are included. No pets.
