Higher Paradise is a converted barn from the 1800s, out near Horton. It's detached and you're up a half-mile farm lane, so it's quiet. You get views across to Pendle Hill and the Ribble Valley.
It sleeps ten people. Five bedrooms, three bathrooms. One bathroom is a wet room on the ground floor. It's a 4 Star place. It's been done up but they kept the old stonework and beams. Some floors are the original flagstones. The layout is mostly open plan.
There's a wood burning stove in the main room. For facilities, you've got a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and WiFi. There's a separate games room as well. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. Parking is right there.
You can walk or ride straight out from the door on the public footpath. The Forest of Bowland is close by, and the Yorkshire Dales aren't far either. The market town of Skipton is about ten miles away.
The nearest shop and pub are in Clitheroe, about three miles. For a bigger day out, Blackpool or the Lake District are within an hour or so's drive.
