Adair Cottage
Adair Cottage is in Mere Syke, near Settle. It's one of a pair, right next to our house. It's a quiet spot, just fields around.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating. We renovated it a few years ago. The kitchen is hand built, and it's got a woodburning stove. It's warm and comfortable.
You can walk straight from the door into the fields. The local pub is about two miles away in the village, it does food. The nearest shop is four miles away in Giggleswick, so you'll want to bring your supplies.
Settle is about seven miles. It's a proper market town with a few shops and pubs. You can get the train from there on the Settle to Carlisle line, which goes over the Ribblehead Viaduct. The views are good.
You're right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. Yorkshire Dales National Park is basically your back garden. The Forest of Bowland is also close. For a longer day out, the Lake District is about an hour's drive.
There's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right outside. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
If you're coming as a bigger group, you can book the cottage next door, Graydon Cottage, as well. They connect through a locked door.
