Acre Hill Lodge
Acre Hill Lodge is near Harrop Fold in Lancashire. It's on the edge of a working farm, so there will be hens, ducks, cats, and highland cattle around. The views are over fields.
It sleeps four. Three bedrooms and one bathroom. It's all on one level. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The garden at the front is enclosed, which is good if you have dogs.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a kitchen, a living area with a wood burner, and the bedrooms lead off from there. One bedroom has bunk beds and a TV. The bathroom has a shower.
You can park two cars right outside. A third car can park in the main driveway. There's a BBQ and bike storage.
Bolton by Bowland is the nearest village, a few minutes' drive. It has a shop, tea rooms, and a couple of pubs. Clitheroe is about a fifteen minute drive. It's a proper market town with supermarkets, shops, and takeaways.
You're right on the edge of the Forest of Bowland. It's good walking and cycling country. The Ribble Valley is all around you. The Yorkshire Dales are about half an hour's drive north, and you can get to the Lake District in under an hour if you fancy a longer day out.
