Acre Hill Cottage
Acre Hill Cottage is in Harrop Fold, in the Forest of Bowland. It's a one bedroom cottage for two people. It's got a 4 Star rating, and it was all refurbished a couple of years ago.
The main thing is the view. The bedroom has patio doors that look straight out over the fields. You get a lot of sky. The garden is yours, it's enclosed, and there's a table and chairs out there.
Inside, it's warm. There's a wood burner in the living room. One bathroom with a shower. Bedding and towels are provided. WiFi is included.
You can bring your dog. There's a space to store bikes if you need it. Parking is right outside.
The location is quiet. You're in the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. For a pub, Bolton-by-Bowland is about three miles away. There are other villages like Slaidburn within a fifteen minute drive, and they all have a pub too.
Clitheroe is the nearest proper town, about seven miles. It's got shops and a market. Gisburn Forest is close if you want to go walking or mountain biking.
You can get to the Yorkshire Dales or Pendle Hill in under half an hour by car.
