The Old Dairy
The Old Dairy is on our farm in Holden, Lancashire. It used to be a dairy barn, we converted it. It's semi-detached, attached to Woodpecker Cottage. You have your own garden, it's enclosed.
It sleeps seven. Three bedrooms, each one has its own bathroom with a shower. That's handy if you've got a full group. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable, with things like a wood burner and a dishwasher.
The stairs are a bit steep. It's that kind of building.
You can bring one dog. There's bike storage if you're into cycling.
You're right in the Forest of Bowland. You can walk straight out from the door. The village of Bolton-by-Bowland is about a mile away, it's got a pub. Clitheroe is about six miles. That's the nearest proper town, with a castle, shops, places to eat. For mountain biking, Gisburn Forest is very close, about three and a half miles.
Pendle Hill is a 20 minute drive. The Ribble Valley is known for good food, there are several pubs and restaurants within a short drive. If you want to go further, you can get into the Yorkshire Dales. Skipton is about a 30 minute drive. The Lake District is about an hour away.
For facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside.
