The Old Dairy
The Old Dairy is on Corgill Farm in Holden. It's a barn conversion, semi-detached with the cottage next door. You get your own garden, it's enclosed.
It sleeps seven in three bedrooms. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. That's handy. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well kept. There's a woodburner in the living room.
You're right in the Forest of Bowland. The walking from the door is good. The village of Bolton-by-Bowland is about a mile away, it's got a pub. Clitheroe is about six miles. That's where you'll find the castle, proper shops, and places to eat. For mountain biking, Gisburn Forest is three or four miles away.
If you want to explore further, Pendle Hill is a 20 minute drive. Skipton, which is the gateway to the Yorkshire Dales, is about 15 miles. The South Lakes, like Windermere, are about an hour's drive.
Facilities: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, wifi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can take one dog. There's a highchair if needed.
