Foxtales
Foxtales is a cottage in Gisburn village. It's old, from the 1600s I think. You get the whole place.
It sleeps up to four people in two bedrooms. One room has a double bed. The other has a single day bed and a trundle bed that pulls out to make it a double or two singles. There are two bathrooms, one with a shower, one with a small bath.
The living room has the original stone fireplace with an electric stove in it. The dining table converts into a pool table, which is a bit different. The kitchen has everything you'd need, including a dishwasher and washing machine.
There's no garden, but you can park right outside. The village has a shop, a deli-café, an Italian restaurant, and a pub, all a short walk away. A lot of them are dog friendly. We take up to three dogs.
It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. Everything's clean, and bedding and towels are included.
For walks, you've got the Ribble Valley right there. Pendle Hill is a short drive away if you fancy a proper climb. The coast, the Lake District, and cities like Manchester are all within about an hour's drive if you want a day out.
