Woodpecker Cottage Holden

Woodpecker Cottage is on our farm, Corgill. It's a semi-detached barn conversion, next to The Old Dairy cottage. They've each got their own garden, which is fully enclosed. It looks out over our fields.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathroom. It's a 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. It's all on one level, which is handy.

There's a woodburning stove in the living room. We leave you some logs to get started. It's got underfloor heating too, so it's always cosy. There's parking right outside.

The farm is in Holden, right in the Forest of Bowland. You can walk straight from the door. The village of Bolton-by-Bowland is about a mile away. It's got a good pub. There's another pub serving food about half a mile in the other direction.

Clitheroe is about six miles. It's a proper market town with a castle, shops, and a few restaurants. Gisburn Forest, for mountain biking, is only ten minutes by car.

You're well placed for driving out. Pendle Hill is 20 minutes. The Yorkshire Dales are close, Skipton is about half an hour. The Lake District is about an hour, if you fancy a longer day trip.

As for facilities: it's got a washing machine, dishwasher, wifi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a highchair. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
