The Wensleydale
The Wensleydale is a shepherd's hut in Rathmell. It's on a working sheep and beef farm up a private lane. You get views over the fields. It's detached and spaced out, so it's private.
It sleeps four. There's one main room, with a double bed at one end and bunk beds at the other. Then a separate bathroom with a walk-in shower. It's open plan, so it's all one space except for the bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It’s new and clean.
Outside your door there's a table and chairs. There's parking for two cars. The hut has a cot and a highchair if you need them. Bedding and towels are included. There's WiFi and a TV.
You're right on the Ribble Way footpath for walking. The farm is inside the Yorkshire Dales National Park. You can see the Three Peaks from here. Settle is a few miles away for shops, and Skipton isn't far either.
Within about half an hour you can get to places like Malham Cove, Bolton Abbey, and the Ribblehead Viaduct. Gisburn Forest is nearby for mountain biking.
There’s a local pub in the village. The hut is on a working farm, so you'll see sheep and sometimes hear farm noise.
You can book this hut with the two others next to it if you’re a bigger group.
