Kings Cottage is on a narrow street in Giggleswick. It's a stone cottage from the 1600s. It sleeps three, in two bedrooms, with one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.
The stairs are steep and a bit uneven. The floors are too, in places. That's just how it is.
Inside, there's a kitchen and dining area. There's a wood burner in the living room. It's got a TV, WiFi, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. All bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
Out the back there's a small yard. The bedroom windows look out over the village toward the church.
You can walk into Settle in about 20 minutes. It's less than a mile. Settle has shops, pubs, and cafes. The Settle to Carlisle railway line goes from there. It crosses the Ribblehead Viaduct. Sometimes they run steam trains. Settle-Carlisle Railway.
You're right between the Yorkshire Dales and the Forest of Bowland. The Yorkshire Dales National Park is on your doorstep. The Three Peaks are a short drive away if you want a big walk. For cycling, the lanes around here are good, but hilly.
The Lake District is about an hour's drive. Morecambe Bay is a bit less.
