Kings Cottage is in Giggleswick, right up a little lane. It's a stone cottage from the 1600s. It sleeps three, with two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well kept.
The stairs are steep. The kitchen has what you need. There's a wood burner in the living room, and we leave you some logs to get started. The bedrooms are upstairs, with a view over the village towards the church.
The town of Settle is about a mile away. It's got butchers, bakers, a few pubs, and a Co-op. You can walk it in 20 minutes, or drive in two. Giggleswick has a station too, on the Settle-Carlisle line. That's a stunning train ride over the viaduct.
You're right between the Yorkshire Dales and the Forest of Bowland. Walking and cycling starts on your doorstep. The Three Peaks are a short drive if you're up for that. It's about an hour's drive to the Lake District if you fancy a day trip.
You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included.
