Crooklands Cottage

Crooklands Cottage is in Austwick, North Yorkshire. It's a single-storey bungalow so there are no stairs at all. It's detached and you get the whole place to yourselves.

It sleeps four in two bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. One has an accessible shower and a deep Japanese tub for soaking. Everything is on one level and designed for wheelchair access. The kitchen is open plan with a wood burner in the living area.

The cottage has a 4 Star rating. It's well-equipped: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We accept one well-behaved dog.

Austwick is a nice little village. It's got a shop, a pub, and a hotel that does food. You're about halfway between Settle and Ingleton.

For walking, you're right in it. The Yorkshire Dales Three Peaks are on your doorstep. There's good cycling and fishing locally too. The Yorkshire Dales National Park site has all the details. Ingleton Waterfalls Trail and White Scar Caves are a short drive away.

If you fancy a day out, Kirkby Lonsdale is about ten miles. Skipton is under twenty. The National Trust has several properties within a half hour's drive, like Malham Tarn. The southern Lake District is also within easy reach.
