Three Peak Cottage is a three-bedroom terraced house I own in Horton in Ribblesdale. It's right in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. It sleeps six, in a proper double, a twin and a small double room. There's one bathroom.
The stairs are a spiral staircase. It's quite tight and steep. Fine if you're steady on your feet, but something to know about.
Inside, the main living area is open plan. Kitchen, dining table, and a sofa. Everything's clean and works. The bathroom has a bath with a TV on the wall. The bedrooms all have TVs too.
You get parking and Wi-Fi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine. No pets, sorry.
The location is the main thing. You can walk straight out into the village. Horton is the start of the Three Peaks walk. If you're after that, you couldn't be much better placed.
Ingleton Waterfalls and the caves at Ingleborough are a short drive away. So is Bolton Abbey. Skipton, with its castle and market, is about half an hour by car.
For planning walks and days out, the Yorkshire Dales National Park site is useful. The National Trust page for the area is good too.
