Number 6

Number 6 is on the edge of Clapham village. It's a stone terrace cottage, part of an old barn conversion. It's about a five minute walk from the station.

The cottage sleeps three. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable.

The main quirk is the stairs. They're Yorkshire stone stairs, so they're steep and a bit uneven. You need to watch your step.

Outside there's a small patio garden. It's got a table and chairs and catches the sun in the afternoon.

Inside, there's a wood burning stove. We leave a starter supply of logs for you. There's underfloor heating downstairs. The kitchen has a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included.

You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's bike storage if you need it.

A local pub is a short walk away. They do food. For a proper shop, the farm shop on the road towards Ingleton is good. It's about a mile and a half away.

You're right in the Yorkshire Dales. The footpath up to Ingleborough starts in the village. For walks, the Yorkshire Dales National Park site is useful. The famous Settle to Carlisle railway line runs through the station here. You can get to Settle, Kirkby Lonsdale, or Ribblehead viaduct easily.

Ingleton Falls walk and the show caves there are about a ten minute drive. Skipton is about twenty five minutes by car.

The cottage is next to Number 3. They can be booked together if you're a bigger group.
