This is Number 6. It's one of a row of cottages, part of an old barn conversion, on the edge of Clapham village. It's a stone-built terrace house, so it's got thick walls. You can walk into the village centre from here.
It sleeps three people. There are two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The garden is yours to use, it's just out the back. There's a wood burning stove in the living room for the evenings.
The facilities are what you'd expect: WiFi, TV, washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right by the cottage. We can take one well-behaved dog.
Clapham has a pub you can walk to. There's a good farm shop about a mile away, they do vegetables and have a coffee shop. The Settle to Carlisle railway line runs nearby. The station is a few minutes' walk, so you could arrive by train if you wanted.
For getting out, you're right on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales National Park. The walking and cycling from the door is excellent. If you drive, Ingleton with its waterfalls and caves is about twenty minutes. Settle is fifteen minutes. For a bigger day out, you can be in Skipton, Kirkby Lonsdale, or up at Ribblehead Viaduct in under half an hour.
This cottage can be booked together with Number 3 next door if you need space for more people.
