Cragdale Penthouse is a flat at the top of the converted old police station and courthouse in Settle. It gets all the sun and has great views over the town, especially from the terrace.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, two bathrooms. The main one is en-suite with a kingsize. It's got a 5 Star rating, so everything's new and in good order. The quality is high.
You're right in the middle of town, a couple of minutes from the market square. There are some good pubs and cafes nearby. The Station Bar is handy.
The walking is the main thing here. You can start right from the door. For a path to follow, the National Trust Yorkshire Dales site has good ideas. Malham Cove and Tarn are about a fifteen minute drive away. The Three Peaks are a bit further, maybe twenty-five minutes to the car park for Pen-y-ghent.
The station is a five minute walk. The Settle to Carlisle line is worth doing. It goes over the Ribblehead Viaduct.
In the flat you've got a dishwasher, washing machine, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking on site for one car. No pets.
