Holly Bank Cottage is in Giggleswick. It's a little stone cottage, just for two people. There's one bedroom and an en-suite bathroom.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and everything works. There's a woodburning stove in the main room, which is nice in the evening. The stairs to the bedroom are steep, like in most old cottages.
The cottage has its own small patio garden. You can park right outside.
Everything is included: bed linen, towels, electricity, and wifi. There's a washing machine too.
The village shop and a pub are about a three minute walk away. For more choice, Settle is just over half a mile on foot. It's a proper market town with a good mix of shops and places to eat.
The main reason to be here is for the walking. You can step straight out onto footpaths. The Yorkshire Dales National Park starts right on the doorstep. The famous Settle to Carlisle railway line runs through, and you can see the Ribblehead Viaduct from some of the walks.
If you drive, you can get to the Lake District or the Forest of Bowland in under an hour.
