Gowan View is a detached house in Gressingham, Lancashire. It's up on a bit of a rise, hence the name. You get a good view across the Lune Valley from the back.
It sleeps six in three bedrooms. They all have their own bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 5 Star rating. It's a new, well-equipped place. Everything works and it's kept clean.
The layout is open plan downstairs. There's a level entrance and it's wheelchair accessible inside, but the site itself is on a slope. Just something to be aware of.
The garden is enclosed, which is good if you're bringing a dog. You can have one well-behaved pet. There's parking right there.
You're about twenty minutes' drive from Morecambe Bay. You can walk by the sea there. The Lake District National Park is about half an hour north. If you drive east for a similar time, you're into the Yorkshire Dales.
Locally, there are plenty of walks along the River Lune and through the village. Lancaster is the nearest proper town, about fifteen minutes away. It's got a castle you can visit, run by English Heritage.
For facilities, it's got what you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV. All the bedding and towels are included. It's a comfortable, straightforward place to stay.
