Ted's Place is in Arnside, on the top floor of a big Edwardian house. It looks out over the estuary towards the Lake District fells. You can see the tide come and go from the bay window.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. Two king size beds and one single. The rating is 4 Star. It's been done up modern inside and it's comfortable. The bathroom has both a bath and a good walk-in shower.
You're on the second floor, so there are stairs. They're normal house stairs.
Arnside village is right there. There's a chip shop, a couple of pubs, a bakery, and a few cafes. You can walk to the shore in a few minutes. The local walk up Arnside Knott gives you a proper view of the area.
If you're driving, you've got options. Milnthorpe is ten minutes away for a supermarket. Levens Hall and its topiary garden is about twenty minutes. The Lake District proper, like Windermere, is about half an hour. The Yorkshire Dales, maybe Kirkby Lonsdale, is a similar drive.
For facilities: there's parking, WiFi, a washing machine, and a wood burner. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. There's a locked store for bikes or kayaks if you've brought them.
