Ted's Place is in Arnside. It's on the second floor of a big Edwardian house. The main thing is the view. You look straight out over the estuary towards the Lakeland fells. The sunsets from the bay window are good.
It sleeps five. Three bedrooms. One proper bathroom with a bath and a big walk-in shower. The stairs inside the flat are normal, but the shared stairs up to the second floor are quite steep. Just so you know.
You've got a kitchen with a dishwasher and washing machine, and a wood burner in the living room. There's a small raised deck outside that gets the sun. You can see a sliver of the water between the houses.
Arnside itself is quiet. There's a chip shop, a couple of pubs, a bakery. The beach and the pub are a two-minute walk. For a bigger shop, Milnthorpe is ten minutes by car.
You can walk up Arnside Knott from the door. For a day out, the southern Lake District - Bowness, Windermere - is about half an hour's drive. The Yorkshire Dales, like Kirkby Lonsdale, are about the same. Levens Hall is 20 minutes away.
You can bring one dog. There's bike and kayak storage if you need it.
