Rose Garden Cottage is in Ackenthwaite. It's a hamlet, so it's quiet. You're about five minutes drive from Milnthorpe, which has shops and things.

It sleeps five. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's been done up to a good standard. It's a modern finish inside but it's still a cottage.

The main room is open plan, with the kitchen at the back. There's a wood burner. The garden is enclosed, with a patio and a lawn. You can see fields and St. Anthony's Tower from there. There's parking for two cars at the front.

There's a local pub a short drive away. Levens Hall is nearby, famous for its topiary gardens. The M6 is close, so getting around is easy.

You're at the southern end of the Lake District. Windermere and Ambleside are about half an hour's drive. The Yorkshire Dales are about the same distance, Ingleton way, if you fancy the waterfall walk.

Facilities: it has wifi, a washing machine, a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
