School Knott Cott

School Knott Cottage is in Windermere, on the site of the old Kodak building. It’s a quiet cul-de-sac. You can walk to the village centre in a few minutes.

It’s a four-star cottage, sleeps four. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. No pets. It’s smartly done up inside, neutral with some colour. There’s a TV, Wi-Fi, and a washing machine. You get bedding and towels. There's parking.

Orrest Head is a short walk away. You get a good view over Windermere from there. Bowness is downhill. You can walk to the lake, shops, and the boat trips from there.

For trains, Booths supermarket, and the big Lakeland store, it’s about five minutes up the road. Ambleside, Grasmere, and Keswick are a short drive up the main road.
