School Knott Cott
School Knott Cott is in Windermere. It's in a quiet cul-de-sac, almost in the middle of the village. You're about five minutes from the train station, Booths supermarket, and the Lakeland shop.
It's a two bedroom cottage that sleeps four. One bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. The living room has a big TV and leather sofas. There's a flame effect electric fire. The owners have done it up well. It's comfortable and clean.
You can walk down into Bowness. That'll take you about fifteen minutes, maybe twenty. That's where you get the boats on the lake. Orrest Head is a short walk the other way. The view from there is very good, you can see right down Windermere. For longer walks, you're right on the edge of the fells. School Knott itself is just behind the cottage.
Ambleside is about ten minutes drive. Grasmere and Keswick are a bit further, maybe twenty and thirty minutes respectively. They're all easy to get to.
For facilities, it's got the washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking on site. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
