This is Rowan. It's our little apartment on Hawkshead Hill, near Hawkshead village in the Lake District.
It's a space for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. There's a super kingsize bed. The main room is open plan, so the living, dining, and sleeping areas are all together. The bathroom has both a bath and a walk-in shower.
Outside, there are bifold doors that open onto a decking area. It gets the sun and you can sit out there.
Rowan is part of the Yewfield Estate. It's on an 80-acre site with woods and meadows. You can walk from the door straight into the estate or down the hill into Hawkshead village. Tarn Hows is a short walk away, which is nice for a picnic. National Trust Tarn Hows.
The main lakes are close. Coniston Water and Windermere are both about three miles by car.
You're well placed for walking and cycling. For other things, the Beatrix Potter house at Hill Top is nearby, and there's the Motor Museum in Hawkshead itself. There's a good vegetarian restaurant on the estate if you don't fancy cooking. The nearest pub is about a mile and a half away.
Facilities: WiFi, TV, parking right outside, all bedding and towels are provided. You can bring up to two dogs.
If you're coming with more people, there are other apartments here on the same estate that can be booked together.
