Tock How View is a barn conversion in Outgate, near Hawkshead. It's detached, with parking right outside.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and three bathrooms, which is handy. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means everything is in good order and well-finished.
The main thing about the place is the view. From the upstairs living room, you look south over the fells. There's a terrace out there which gets the sun. You'll probably spend a lot of time looking out of those windows.
There's a pub about a hundred yards away. The Drunken Duck is a mile down the road if you fancy it. Hawkshead village is a mile away too. It's got the usual shops, a couple of bakeries, and several more pubs.
You can start walks right from the door. It's a good spot for getting onto the lower fells without having to drive. If you do drive, Coniston Water is ten minutes away, and Windermere is about fifteen.
Inside, there's a wood burning stove, a washing machine, dishwasher, and WiFi. There's also a games room. All the bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair if needed. Sorry, no pets.
