7 Oaklands is an apartment in Ambleside. It's on the first floor. It sleeps four people in two bedrooms. One is a king size, the other has twin beds. There's one bathroom.
It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. The kitchen is decent, it's got a dishwasher. There's a living area with a TV. WiFi is included.
The location is the main thing. You're right in Ambleside, so you can walk to the shops, cafes and pubs. The local pub is a couple of minutes away. Parking is on site, which is useful.
The stairs up to the apartment are standard for a conversion. They're fine.
From there, you can walk straight out into the fells. Stock Ghyll Force waterfall is a good walk from the door. For a gentler stroll, Borrans Park by Lake Windermere is close. The Ambleside Roman Fort is there too.
Ambleside Pier is about a 15 minute walk. You can get the ferry across Windermere to Bowness. Grasmere and Langdale are a short drive away, maybe 10 or 15 minutes.
Facilities: all bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine. No pets.
